Graham’s Departure

It is with a bittersweet tone we announce that after over three years, Graham has decided to leave Tough Lovers to pursue other musical projects. We want to stress that there are no hard feelings between any of the members and the split is made purely out of an urge to create a different style of music which we fully support.

While we haven’t planned what will become of the new lineup, by no means does this mark the end for Tough Lovers. We will continue making music just as before and Jamie is already growing a beard to make up for the absence of Graham’s.

That being said, this thursday will be your last chance to see Graham onstage with Tough Lovers at The Biltmore and we’d love to see your support and send him off with a bang.

Tough Lovers Custom Jewellery

Inspired by the boys inside the men, Little Toy Tracks is a jewellery line for those who enjoy the playful and mischievous side of life. Now armed with instruments instead of plastic trucks and rubber dinosaurs, the four young bucks who make up Tough Lovers infuse their songs with a feel that is flirtatious, uplifting and completely genuine. Each piece was handcrafted using imprints from childhood toys and cast in bronze.

Here’s a peek at our new custom designed jewellery line designed by Army of Rokosz and Tanya Christine Jewellery. These guys have been selling like hotcakes at our last three shows are we’re exited to take them on tour with us.

ALS Charity Concert Results

We had an amazing time last night with all of you lovely people and together we managed to raise over $5000 for ALS research! Here are photos of the night courtesy of Christine McAvoy.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, GERRY!

We still have a Myspace page. We don’t ever use it, but its nice to have for those of you who still frequent the wild and wonderful world of Myspace. We’re lazy and nobody can really remember our password to get onto Myspace anymore so we still get email notifications when someone sends us a message via Myspace. This guy : http://www.myspace.com/gerrypearson sends us at least 5 spam emails a week. Enough is enough, Gerry. Please stop using that god awful website. Yours truly, TL

Things are getting a little crazy

Recording “Night Eyes” with JP Maurice and Jeff Dawson up at bootcamp

So much is happening in the midst of everything involving the Peak Performance Project. We have three shows coming up in the next month: One at 560 club for Olio Festival, our Redroom Showcase for The PPP, and our Charity event in support of ALS at The Electric Owl. You can get more info on all of these on our shows page.

We’re also working on a new single entitled Kids Go Out that will be released the night of the charity event with an accompanying video. A new logo is in the works which means new T-shirts and a few other new merch items will also be unveiled on the same night. We also got the chance to record a new song at bootcamp in collaboration with JP Maurice and producer Jeff Dawson (The Dudes, Daniel Powter, Hey Ocean!) which should be hitting the airwaves of 102.7 The Peak soon. Get ready for a crazy few months…
